Maths in Mini golf

The details

Best suited to:

Ages 7 - 15 in a single age group setting (schools or events).

Can accommodate a single class in small groups.

Resources required:

Access to suitable indoor or outdoor flat surface for 10 holes of 1.8m x 4.8m, without glass or easily damaged objects nearby. Mini Golf structures are not suitable for exposure to wet weather.

Good access to parking at set up location or set up may be delayed.

Pencils or pens for scoring. Younger children may require some assistance with keeping score.

Close supervision and enforcement of rules required to prevent damage to obstacles and structures.

Mathematics in mini golf includes provision of a 10 hole golf course, with a variety of obstacles including walls, shapes, corners, tunnels, bumps,ramps and more. Choose from a variety of lesson plans adapted to age and curriculum content including exploring design, shapes, angles, probability, angles and addition.
Children can design their own mini golf hole, before testing their design. Teachers notes are also provided.
Great for hands on learning, engaging students and cross curricular content.

Also available for school fundraisers and other events.

Half day workshop (arrival by 8am/1pm, Pack up to commence 11.30am/4.30pm)
*Set up time can take approx 30 - 75 mins dependent on site access and parking
$13.00+GST

Full day tournament (arrival by 8am, Pack up to commence at 4.30pm)
$15.00+GST

Discounts may be available for multiple, consecutive or final session bookings.

Flat rate  for half day workshop- $390+GST
